If you want to get where you want to be in your business and in your life, you have to be like a little squirrel.
It looks silly, but no! I have taken enough time to observe a squirrel and everything they do to reach their goal.
Some time ago, while visiting a friend whose house was surrounded by trees and greenery, I witnessed how these strong-willed little animals spent most of the day on a task and would not quit until they achieve what they wanted.
The squirrel’s persistence always paid off.
Persevere, persevere until you achieve!
I was amazed when I saw the squirrels doing everything they could, until they achieved what they had envisioned for them; the seeds in the bird’s house, the nuts in the field… burying, opening holes in the trees to save for the winter, impressive! It was a true example of perseverance.
I was very amused to know that my friend had already installed three different types of barriers, each one stronger than the last, just to see how the squirrels conquered them.
After adding the third barrier to the bird’s house, one morning we came across a squirrel that was fully stretching its limbs like arms as much as it could until it grabbed some seeds, which she happily ate.
My friend stopped adding barriers to keep the squirrels out of the seeds!

Like squirrels
The behaviour, determination, strength and will of these creatures inspired me. I copy their qualities and remember them every time I have a distraction that gets in the path to my goals.
Therefore, to maintain my focus and take action until I reach my goals, I use blocks of time, a focused agile plan and intentional actions accompanied by a weekly honest evaluation of my execution.
So far, I am “stretching” like a squirrel, day by day to get closer to my goals! Just like that squirrel that extends its limbs to obtain the seeds.
And you? Does the willpower and perseverance of some wild creatures inspire you? Have you established your method for concentrating and achieving your goals? Share yours in the comments and inspire others.
The more you act, the more you will advance towards your goals this will ignite your enthusiasm and you will continue to act like squirrels, always persevering until you achieve it.
